In those early days of my career that now spans over 40 years in the real-estate industry was quite demanding, difficult and arduous. Reminiscing time back then, when team Niranjan Hiranandani had just started and were in the process of gathering expertise to set our grounds in the industry. I felt challenged to undertake risk, bold decisions, make the team believe in my vision and align them to the company goals. Believe you me, keeping the team spirit high in a formidable situation is always a rigorous exercise for leaders at the helm.

It was a period that tested my patience, emotional strength, and mental resilience. During those hustles & quandaries, I realized that my most effective coping mechanism has always been rooted in self-discovery mode. Instead of dwelling on past difficulties, I chose to focus on finding solutions. Initially, it seemed to be an insurmountable method, but once you realize that is the only way to steer forward in life, trust me, things start falling into place. Your calm and composed mind is the ultimate weapon to beat all the odds. 

In the blossoming days of both my professional and personal zones, I highly neglected my physical well-being while pedaling the life juggles. There came a point in my life, where I had to grapple with a grave illness and was on the brink of death. Resurrecting my life from the deathbed was an eye-opening experience. Since then, physical and mental well-being have been the predominant course of action in my life. Earning my bonus lifeline has prompted me to adopt a wellbeing habit to ensure my survival. From then on, gym, yoga, cardio, running, and diet have been my perpetual daily regime. Today, in my 70's I can boast about running more than 5KM of Marathons.

Tune into my personal advice, that your today can't be compromised in the hack of securing your future. Mindful living in the present moments is the secret of my energy. Don't shrink back from changes; start getting comfortable with them. Life is asymmetrical, and it is wise to stay fluid in this fine journey.

Don’t digress into building futuristic comfort at the cost of today's peace. Live in the moment to regulate the stress barometer. Humans often suffer from huge emotional strain. Healing from the natural stumbles of life like unbound stress, agitation, fear, pain, trauma, and hurtfulness is pivotal to maintain the sanctity of life. We must engage in inculcating the mental wellbeing habit to keep our mind, and life clutter-free in order to achieve the composition of the mind.

In today's world, prioritizing your mental wellness through stress management therapies is no longer stigmatized. On this International Stress Awareness Day, I express the value of seeking support from loved ones, professionals, counselors, or just your cohorts if you feel stressed. Remember, your well-being is paramount, and calling out for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

A blend of contentment, compassion, and calmness can have a magnificent influence on cognitive, behavioral, and emotional regulation. As a wise philosopher says, sometimes the most productive thing you can do is 'Relax'. Own your Breath, to find your Peace!....
